Innovation funding: how Europe support the (next) champions

    What to expect :

The European Innovation Council (EIC) aims to support disruptive innovations developed by companies and laboratories right through to market launch thanks to three schemes : Pathfinder, Transition and Accelerator. These schemes will be presented along with details of eligible projects, funding methods and applications.

Brice CRUCHON, CEO of Dracula Technologies will talk about his experience of the EIC Accelerator, as a beneficiary in 2022.

Dracula Technologies is a deeptech and green tech start-up that has developed LAYER®, an organic photovoltaic technology produced by digital printing and designed to power connected objects requiring micro-power. The start-up is an EIC Accelerator beneficiary.

European Funding Horizon Europe: Introduction to ClustersBio Environment & Energy

    What to expect :

Horizon Europe is the European Union's framework programme for research and innovation for the period 2021-2027. Among the four pillars that make up Horizon Europe, Pillar 2, Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness, aims to support and fund research results related to societal issues such as health, an inclusive, creative and safe society, digital, industry, as well as food, bioeconomy and natural resources.

Horizon Europe National Contact Points will present the objectives, topics and fields of intervention of two thematic clusters of this pillar :

    - Cluster 5: Climate, energy and mobility

    - Cluster 6: Food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment

    Let's demystify European funding together!

    What to expect :

The European Commission set up a policy of funding research and innovation with its Horizon Europe framework programme for the period 2021-2027. To ensure that Europe becomes ever more innovative and competitive, many calls for projects that make up Horizon Europe are completed by specific schemes such as LIFE and EUREKEA EUROSTARS.

Because it's not always easy to navigate through this ecosystem, the Innovation and Funding advisor of EEN and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes CCIs organised this session to help you demystify and facilitate your access to European funding for research and innovation. After providing an overview of the support available, we'll discuss the benefits for companies of applying for these schemes and provide some best practices.
